What a whirlwind! Have you ever had a week that simultaneously seemed like it would never end and like it was flying by? That’s how I’m feeling.
This weekend I’m going away to my friend Melissa’s wedding! I’m happy to be a part of her special day, and I hope the weather will hold out for the ceremony. I’ll be posting throughout the weekend on my Instagram account if you care to follow along.
One | I had a fabulous Fourth of July Weekend. L and I spent the Fourth relaxing, having drinks with friends, eating my favorite summer meal, and watching an amazing fireworks show.
Two | Can we just talk about that crazy Women’s World Cup Final? I wasn’t able to follow much up the WWC because of work and not having cable, but we watched the final with L’s family and it was so much fun!
Three | I recently discovered the Thai Chicken Salad at Panera. Holy wow, it’s delicious and reasonably low-calorie (especially without the wontons!). I know what my go-to order is going to be from now on.
Four | Yesterday I spent my lunchtime walking around Arts Fest. State College is home to a huge arts festival each year, and it’s always fun to walk around before it gets too crowded. I also caved and picked up a pair of those black Piper Sandals I’ve had my eye on.
Five | I would like to give a huge shout out to the Lipstick Queen Lipstick in Medieval. My friend Michelle brought me a tube a few weeks ago when she visited and I adore it. It’s sheer but beautiful, and very moisturizing. Call me addicted!
